ORing announces the release of two new PoE (Power Over Ethernet) switches

ORing has announced the release of  two new PoE (Power Over Ethernet) switches, the IGPS-1411GPTA, an unmanaged 6-port slim-type Gigabit PoE switch, and the Thunder-PoE RGPS-7084GP-P, a managed 12-port rack-mount Gigabit PoE switch.

The IGPS-1411GPTA, supports fiber optic networking with onboard 100/1000Base-X SFP ports (SFP modules sold separately), IEEE 802.3at high-power PoE with up to 30W per port, and wide operating temperature range from -40 to 70°C. With IP-30 housing, the IGPS-1411GPTA is an unmanaged 6-port slim-type Gigabit PoE switch supporting power redundancy through dual 50~57VDC power inputs. When the primary DC power input fails, the backup power input will take over immediately to guarantee a non-stop operation. . In terms of network connections, IGPS-1411GPTA comes with 4x10/100/1000 P.S.E. ports, 1 additional Gigabit port, and 1x100/1000Base-X SFP port. The SFP port optical network speed can be set by changing the settings of the DIP switch(es) below.

The Thunder-PoE RGPS-7084GP-P, suppors fiber optic networking with onboard SFP ports (SFP modules sold separately), IEEE 802.3at high-power PoE with up to 30W per port, and wide operating temperature range from -40 to 70°C. With IP-20 housing, the Thunder-PoE RGPS-7084GP-P is a managed 12-port rack-mount Gigabit PoE switch with 8x10/100/1000Base-T(X) P.S.E. ports and 4x1000Base-X SFP ports. It supports ORing’s advanced redundancy technologies: O-Ring for the ring topology and O-Chain for the add-on chain topology, both of which provide swift and highly secure recovery time of 30 ms for Thunder Series models. Additionally, the Thunder-PoE features Device Binding network security technology, guarding the bound device against unauthorized access while providing anti-hacker DDoS auto prevention, alive checking, and streaming check in one package. In addition to this, the device has Jumbo frame up to 9K bytes, built-in power supply, and the powerful network management utility -- Open-Vision v3.0.
